About the Trainer
I have always loved sports and exercise!  It started with swimming in high school, running in college and then several years of training in muay thai kick boxing.  I am big on 'variety' in my workouts, not only for the physical benefits but to reduce the 'boredom' factor.  My desire to share my love of fitness with others led me to get certified as a Personal Fitness Trainer with the American College of Sports Medicine.  When I see my clients getting excited about exercise (actually looking forward to working out!!) and starting to see changes in their bodies, energy level, strength and endurance it is the greatest reward for me.  I see the same excitement in my kid's classes all the way up to my adult classes...exercise just makes you feel good!
 
In order to keep myself in shape, I workout at least 5 times a week and set myself goals to improve my fitness level.  Whether it be my current goal, training for another triathalon, or smaller (daily) goals to eat right and make time to exercise.  I continue to further my education by attending fitness seminars and keep up to date with current trends so that I can empower, motivate and challenge my clients to achieve their personal goals.
